Silk Yogurt: Peach & Mango, and Vanilla

While we’ve been enjoying Silk soy milk for many years, this is our first taste of Silk yogurt, and we are so happy to make this discovery.

We tried peach and mango flavor, and it’s outstanding.

The yogurt is bursting with flavor and has bits of fruit mixed in (which isn’t always a good thing, but in this case it works!)

This yogurt is also perfectly textured — rich, creamy, and perfect for those who want thick yogurt but not-quite-Greek-style-thick.

It can be enjoyed plain, but we mixed in some museli, nuts, and fruits, and it was delicious.

We also sampled Silk’s vanilla flavor, and it was quite good, but not nearly as flavorful, so we’d go for peach & mango over this one.

The only problem with this amazing yogurt (as well as the others we’ve sampled) is that the sugar content is up there with our favorite vegan ice creams. To give you an idea, here are the sugar amounts per serving (about 150 grams) for the yogurts we’ve reviewed so far:

Silk — 17 grams

Kite Hill – 14 grams

So Delicious — 18 grams

Daiya – 13 grams (blueberry), 15 grams (black cherry)

This is like eating dessert at breakfast (not that there’s anything wrong with that). So if you’re watching your sugar intake, this may not be the best daily food for you. If sugar isn’t an issue, then it most definitely is worth every bite.
