We sampled a few Plant Perks cream cheeses a while back, and recently had an opportunity to try two new flavors: Smoked Gouda and Sriracha Cheddar.
Both flavors are creamy and thick, perfect for spreading on crackers. The Smoked Gouda has an amazing flavor, the closest we’ve come to tasting “real” Gouda since becoming vegan. The texture isn’t at all similar, of course, but the flavor is spot-on.
The Sriracha Cheddar is spicy — not particularly cheddar-like, though — and is likewise creamy and spreadable. We all gravitated a bit more toward the Gouda, but this may be because we were so happily surprised. Fans of sriracha will surely love this cheddar spread.
