As big fans of Forager yogurt, we were excited to see that the company is also making ice cream, in flavors including Cookies & Cream and Bittersweet Chocolate, as well as Vanilla Bean, Mint Chip, and Salted Caramel.
While this brand isn’t our very favorite vegan ice cream (those new to vegan ice cream might first try Oatly or Nada Moo), it is nonetheless refreshing and yummy.
The Bittersweet Chocolate is our favorite of the two; it’s very much like gelato: very flavorful and a bit icy. The Cookies & Cream version was a bit blander and also more icy than creamy (it was made quite delicious with lots of vegan whipped cream).
These cashewmilk confections are a wonderful dessert option for those who can’t or prefer not to eat soy or coconut, and certainly worth a tasting as we head into summer!
