For those who like sweetness to their sausage, the flavor is spot-on; these little links have just the right the spicy-maple flavor.
But if you’re looking for a more authentic texture, I’d suggest Beyond Meat (either the giant links or the breakfast patties). The texture of these Field Roast sausages is a little mushy and dry, whereas the Beyond Meat products are greasy and crumbly (in a good way). That said, vegans who are grossed out by faux meats that are all-too-authentic may enjoy these a bit more.
